"The combination of individualized record of the pregnancy against the wonderful views of the babys development will, I am sure, be cherished by many parents".

Ric Warren, Honorary Secretary Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

Heidi Murkoff Incorporating this technology with stunning animation, the broadcast was literally able to give us a womb with a view, a view that peeled away the layers of mystery from inside the uterus and finally bought into focus those once blurry images, that allowed us to see a babys development from a babys point of view. So that parents could experience pregnancy, at long last, from the inside out!

DVD Testimonials

I bought this DVD and Book as a gift for my wife not really thinking much of it until I was forced to sit down with her. Its fascinating we were completely mesmerized from start to finish. I realized just how incredible and precious the way life starts not to mention what needs to take place to transform a cell to little embryo and then a baby. The graphics are beautiful -its full of interesting facts and just to see the baby in the womb growing is amazing. It really helps to connect to my wife and what she is going through in her pregnancy. Week by week we will sit down and catch up on developments - can't wait. I recommend this book and DVD for anyone having a baby or just anyone that wants to know how we came to be.

the DVDs you sent us were wonderful. Thank you so much. We had a mother who was expecting twins and we were able to let her watch the one on twins and multiple births and it helped her a lot. She has since given birth to two beautiful baby girls and they are doing well. Thanks again. Ruth director of His Love Family Resources

I found the DVD extremely fascinating! I think thats the best way to describe it! Totally fascinating!

In answer to your questions...
1 - Feelings about the film - what fabulous insight it gave me and my husband! It made us feel like the most special people! We had created a baby, growing inside me! How clever were we?!!

2 - The very detailed information gave us confidence and further excitement in our pregnancy. It was amazing to see visually what happens at what stage - makes a massive difference seeing it on film, compared to reading about it in a book.

3 - The weekly calender was very useful - it mirrors how the books describe each developmental process. To know at 30 weeks, the foetus demonstrated REM sleep - so dreaming therefore starts to occur.. makes you feel so much closer to your unborn baby.

4 - My partner and I watched the dvd, and then my parents did! My mum wished that level of information had been available to her when she was pregnant. The detail and visuals are amazing.

I would definately recommend watching this DVD to anyone who is interested! A must see for expectant parents, and judging by the effect it had on my parents, I would recommend grandparents and siblings also watch! There are so many stages of development and watching it all unravel before your eyes is amazing. I was very emotional during the dvd - I just couldn't believe my body was doing all this! It makes yoiu feel like the most blessed and special person!

"Should be compulsory viewing for all teenagers"

What are your feelings about the film?
It is a real eye opener. Although I did fairly well in biology at school (some years ago now) there was never this level of detail available

Does the detailed information make you feel more secure as your pregnancy progresses? We have a three year old already however after having our son we lost our second early on in the pregnancy. The level of information given in the DVD allows us to both understand (in more detail) the point in which we lost our second pregnancy as well as understand what we should be expecting and what is happening throughout this pregnancy

Have you watched the film with your partner what did he/she feel about it, how did you both feel about the experience? I watched this with my wife the day we received the DVD through the post. My wife has a look that only an expectant mother can have. For her she can link the growth to changes and feeling with her own body. For me, it allows a degree of understanding with what changes are occurring to my wife

Have you recommended the DVD to other friends and family? Even though we have only three weeks to go to our big day I have recommended this to my mother. I would suggest that anyone expecting a child or considering parenthood give this DVD a watch. Even if you forget the information being told to you throughout the programme, the sheer magic of what is going on within you partners tummy will literally blow you away.
